benchmark
she lives on in our hearts
and always will -
we do not need a bench
to remind us of her
life,
love,
laughter
and generosity of spirit
we hope this seat will offer others
a chance to
pause,
rest,
reflect
and give them comfort
with its plaque
at least her name too lives on…
