Autumn 2019

I recall when October brought so often a sunny and golden autumn but now it is a cloudy time with frequent rain,  At our new home a tree overlooking our front garden contains a bevy or red leaves and a pretty all year weeping tree doesn’t lose its leaves. And gives us a screen making the cottage even more secluded in its tucked-away position. 


Today, a couple of days later, a clear sky appeared  - blue sky and sunshine!  How lovely.  Is that a slight glint of gold from the overgrown meadow at the bottom of the garden?  

                               












The various shades of green suit me fine - and no leaves to clear up!  What was that about silver linings!!
