A little walk

Saturday afternoon.  The sky is clear.  The sun is warm - and there is no wind !  We set off on a short walk.

Only a few patches of icy snow remain…

Mistletoe and catkins act as a backdrop for old farm machinery in a lane not far from our house…

A pretty chicken gets camera-shy...

...then decides to pose for me.

On our return to the square at the side of our house we sit on a bench in lovely sunshine until a slight breeze springs up…time for tea!
