The weather this summer has certainly been unsettled - and has reflected our personal lives!
Family decided to start a new venture in moving from mid-Norfolk to North Norfolk. We decided to stay put for a while to see how they got on before possibly moving in the same direction, A week later we were given a month’s notice as the owners of our bungalow decided to put it up for sale! So mid-June saw all of us heading in the same direction to places just 2 miles apart. Moving house is so stressful and demanding and the older you get the more demanding it becomes but we had help from the removal people which helped a lot.
We arrived to find it a no-signal zone so are unable to use our mobile phones at all - no signal until about a mile up the road ! TV signal unsettled but with the help of a TV signal booster that is now ok. BT forgot to connect the phone on the day we moved in so no phone(s) or broadband. Several visits by BT over the next couple of weeks eventually sorted that out. Then we decided to get me a new computer. My other being very slow - half the work was done by a friend of a friend who abandoned the job quoting health and the demands of other jobs. We gave him a few weeks for the benefit of doubt - then, a month after moving, abandoned everything for a week and took ourselves off to the Suffolk coast, having rescued our home from the large number of now-empty boxes and heaps of packing paper!
Now, heading for yet another month and my computer work almost complete by a professional - the last week ir so by remote control - I am able to write this piece for my blog and hope I don’t have any problem in loading it and some photos! I am tired and no longer wish to feel unsettled !!

Early May - before we knew we would be moving - we enjoyed a short break of John Petters' jazz.in Norwich |
Mid July we enjoyed the garden at Warner's Gunton Hall, Lowestoft

The heatwave hit for our stay there so we mostly used a shady spot and also slept a lot and felt much better for it.
Now a light at the end of the computer tunnel has cheered and started to waken my brain again.
