Wintry

Winter has definitely set in but we are mindful that here in Norfolk we are less affected than other parts of the country - something we've always appreciated during the many years of living in East Anglia and particularly since living in this part in the west of the county.

So far snow has been spasmodic and light although we've had many very cold, frosty, days and nights.  At least the bare trees look pretty...

Hibernation.

It’s been very quiet in this little corner of blogland over the past few weeks with Ron spending three weeks in hospital due to a heart attack a few days after our return from Spain then a slow but steady recovery since.

But we were able to join in a family celebration on Christmas Day thanks to Peter coming to collect us while Linda cooked a delicious meal for nine family and extended family members.

By choice - with the inability to keep our eyes open long enough! - the New Year’s arrival passed us by and January is ticking by with little activity in our sleepy home where this year there seem to be even more reasons for our usual hibernation. But Ron is on the right path and we look forward to the livelier days of Spring when the countryside and we awake.
