Pretty.

It all looked very pretty by the waterside at Consenvoye this afternoon. We had a stroll, sat on a bench and just breathed.







We had hoped to get a cold beer at the Auberge/Bar but it is still closed...due to re-open on 9th September...



Oh well, at least the info is there!




















...so we went home and had one from the 'fridge!

    Late summer flowers looking good. Shame about the beer, but I hope the new owner is good.
    It is lovely just to sit and breathe occasionally.

    We'll have to go back and see what the new owner is like - of course! Just sitting and breathing in beautiful surroundings is becoming more appealing by the minute!! Trying to make the most of it before summer disappears.

    September can be wonderful too - that's what I tell myself, since we have returned home to a noticable drop in temperature!

    Oh it can indeed - and I remember some wonderful golden Octobers (not the wine!). Here over the last three days the temperature has dropped by 15 degrees!
